What is Work?

What is Work? is part of my ongoing exploration of ritual, lineage, and the ways knowledge is carried through the body. Photographed in my grandmother's backyard, the cloaked figure carries brick forms that become symbols of labor, inheritance, and the weight of what is passed from one generation to the next. The work considers labor beyond productivity, asking how care, memory, ritual, and family histories shape our understanding of work itself.
